Polonia reactiva su Camino
Polonia tiene su propio Camino de Santiago, cada día más frecuentado. Dos ramas confluyen en la capital, Varsovia, pero a partir de ahí la ruta se vuelve a bifurcar. Son la Via Regia y la Malopolska (Malopolska Way of St. James). Un portavoz de la correspondiente asociación de amigos la describe así:
The Malopolska Way is included in the network of Polis St. Jame’s pilgrimage routes. It passes through part of the stata os the early Piaast dynasty whinch included lands around Kraków and Sandomierza. The route of the Way corresponds to the medieval path running through the Vistula Valley from Sandomierz to Kraków. The path was one of the branches of the so calles russian route from Polesia and rus to the capital and to Silesia.
The project to recreate the Malopolska Way of St. James from Ssandomierz to Krakow was inaugurated in June 2007. The members of the Brotherhood of St James the Elder in the parish of St. James in Wieclawice joines the proyecto to re-establish and mark de Malopolska Way of St. James.
